Guidelines for PAARL’s 2-day National Parallel Session-workshop in Partnership with Holy Angel University-Angeles City
Themed on: Library and Web 2011 for Readers, Technical and Archives Services

1. Schedule & Venue: August 19-20,2010 (Thursday & Friday) at the Multifunction Hall & Audiovisual Rooms, Holy Angel University, Holy Angel Avenue, Sto. Rosario Street, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines

2. Objectives of the Parallel Session-workshop:
a. To provide leadership, through libraries as media centers, in building and engaging community of learners with a mindset for authentic learning; (READER SERVICES);
b. To explore intensely public and private collaboration as a design and select, classify, organize and access resources available not only throughout one’s library building but from the global community; (TECHNICAL SERVICES)
c. To alter policies and procedures to meet changing needs; (ADMINISTRATIVE/ARCHIVES SERVICES); and,
d. To ensure online & deliverable library services and best practices for clients’ information needs to read, speak, view, listen, evaluate and learn. (WEB-BASED SERVICES).

i Live-out parallel session-workshop, Php 2,500.00 only, inclusive of meals(lunch),snacks, seminar kits, handouts and certificates
6. For affordable housing priced @ Php 250.00/night, participants may stay @ a DEPED housing near Holy Angel University: DEPED-Regional Educational Learning Center (RELC), Pulungbulo, Angeles City.
